Road 2 Hope

Hamilton Challenger Baseball Association to participate in the Road 2 Hope: Nov. 5th & 6th, 2016

The HCBA is excited  to be participating in the Road2Hope Hamilton Marathon  on November 5th and 6th, 2016. The Road2Hope offers runs and walks from 1km children’s challenge to a full marathon. It is an amazing fundraising opportunity  for us which players, families  and friends can participate in.  The 1km event will be open to any HCBA player who wishes to enter, players are allowed one buddy to assist them ( if needed ) at no cost.  Please note it is recommended that HCBA players register for the 1km, 5km or 10K as the half and full marathons take place on the Red Hill Valley Parkway and the downhill is too steep for wheelchair  participation . All registration or pledge money must be given directly to a HBCA executive member to qualify for HCBA receipting, receipts will be issues for all donations of $20 or more. Registration can be completed  online:   THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO REGISTER AS A PARTICIPANT... 1) Go to: 2) Go to: REGISTRATION TAB select ENTRY FEES to find the fee for the event you wish to participate in. 3) Go back to REGISTRATION TAB: click on register now, when page opens click on REGISTER NOW ONLINE and a new page will open it will say choose registration type: click on Individual or Family. Registration detail page will open. 4) Using drop down box select event you are entering and fill in participant details. Using drop down box under Donate/ Raise Funds Bar select Hamilton Challenger Baseball Association. If you agree to the terms and conditions click the check box and hit next. 5) The safe & secure site will then allow you to enter all of your payment/contact information. Confirmation e-mail will be sent to you and grant you access to your runners profile/pledge page.   THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO PLEDGE SUPPORT TO A PARTICIPANT... 1) Go to: 2) GO to: FUNDRAISING TAB Select PLEDGE TO A PARTICIPANT 3) Click On: PLEDGE TO A PARTICIPANT ONLINE 4) Scroll through list to find runner you wish to pledge to 5) Click on Pledge Link: the runner's profile page will appear 6) Click on the SPONSOR ME button and donation page will appear 7) Enter amount you wish to pledge along with all your contact information so that you will get a tax receipt. 8) The safe & secure site will then allow you to enter your pledge using a credit card to complete the process.
